At the same time of designing the interior of the now opened BRLO Brwhouse, NOVONO developed also the looks of the construction site pop up beer garden taking into account the BRLO logo. To create that feeling of a perfect summer day for BRLO’s pop up beer garden on the construction site only scrap wood, scaffolding and the clear division of the spaces were used. The color scheme in white and black left room for nature’s colors of summer.
With BRLO’s logo in large print on the scaffolding, the beer garden was easily spotted from the nearby elevated metro-line, especially at night because of the internally illuminated scaffolding. After sundown the beer garden became immersed in a warm, cozy light making patrons want to stay seated at one of the long rustic wooden tables for the rest of the mild summer night.
Located in the middle of Berlin in the proximity of one of the metro-high-lines, this venue quickly became one of the most frequented places to watch a soccer game during the 2016 European Championship. All materials and custom-made structures used in building the temporary beer garden – (from the pre-used wooden flooring to the tables and benches) were recycled after the temporary venue closed.
